Earn money by vegetable production is a very easy way of earning. The demand of vegetables is increasing day by day. An adult people should take at least 180-190gm vegetables per day which is suggested by the nutritionists. But only 15-20% people of the world may take vegetables at that amount.

Among the rest people only 35-40% can meet half of their demand and the rest ones are get less than that amount. This thing happened due to the shortage of vegetable production. The production of vegetables is very easy, because its not require vast area of land.

It also requires a very small amount of capital. If we have a small piece of land in our homestead or have opportunity to use the free space above the house, we can produce vegetables. Fallow land also can be used for this purpose. The first step is the selection of land. After that the selected area should be enquired to know the environmental condition of that area and after then select the vegetables which grows well in the area. Selection of vegetable is a important part of production because the success mostly depends on it. At the time of vegetable selection we should consider the environmental condition, season, availability of water supply, availability of seed etc. But the most important thing is the market demand and the price of the vegetables. If the produced vegetables market value becomes low the total investment then gone in a hurry. After the selection of vegetables the selected land should prepared. Land should be prepared with the help of organic soil. If the soil is not fertile then compost is being used to make it fertile. In the fertile soil vegetables grows well and it doesn’t affect easily by the diseases and pests. But incase of some leafy vegetables, the fleshy leaves are easily affected by the pests. So maintain cost is also considered for vegetable production. If the maintain cost becomes high, the project will be a loss project.

Now-a-days organ culture is a very popular method where vegetables are produced without the help of pesticides and inorganic fertilizer or the minimum use of fertilizer and pesticides. The vegetables which are produced with the help of organ culture have a great demand and have very high value in the market which becomes 2-3times higher than the other vegetables. Moreover the production of vegetables is not only helping in earn money but also it helps us to meet the nutritional demand of our body. So vegetable production is both in large and small scale are always beneficial.
